The Snowbird Outlaw Nationals were held this past weekend at Bradenton Motorsports Park. As part of Drag Illustrated's "Winter Series", the event is primarily a Pro Mod race, but it's local to us and it's a lot of fun so we usually attend. The Pro Mods are the top dogs of doorslammer racing, and they demonstrated that this weekend. There were 80 cars there, so the spread from the Top Qualifier (Jason Harris 3.56@211) to the bottom of the 32-car field (Kyle Dvorak 3.61@208 ) was only .05 seconds! That meant it would be a driver's race and sure enough, Harris won the event with strong ETs and KILLER reaction times. Our friend Bill Lutz won Pro 10.5, so that was cool to see.
Lil Gangstaz is a "No Time" class run on a 5.30 index, and I was surprised by how many show quality racecars there were. Check out this red Chevy II with carbon fiber accents!

Even though this race was mostly about big money race teams with zillion dollar spaceships, there was still a little something there for everyone. There were jet cars, fireworks, and even some street car classes which are probably more relatable to people like us. Our friend Joel Greathouse Won Ultra Street. And speaking of Ultra Street, I hung out with Walter Drakeford from RealSpeed Racing. He's a UPR Dealer and a longtime friend of ours. I was glad to see that the Four Eyed Fox he has raced in Ultra Street for many years is still UPR-equipped!

The Snowbird Nationals event was our last race of 2025. So for now we are locked in on taking care of all of the holiday orders, but we'll be back to the track in January!
