The Spring Break Ford Nationals race at South Georgia Motorsports Park was AWESOME!! If you haven't heard, SGMP created the Spring Break Ford Nationals to fill the void left by the NMRA closing up shop. Granted, the race is now in Georgia instead of Florida and it's in February instead of March, but it retains much of the same energy and excitement we've all come to love. Unfortunately, the weather was a factor this year. The forecast for Friday was horrendous, so the event schedule was shuffled around a bit. Regardless, they managed to get all of the racing in and Team UPR Racers kicked butt as usual!
Charlie Booze Jr won Coyote Stock:

Tony Whetstone won Street Bandit 10.10:

Gordon Marlow ran Runner Up in Open Comp. Heath Maxwell Won Stick Shift Pro in "RealTeal". Alex Martinez ran Runner Up in Stick Shift Street. Gaby Lujan ran Runner Up in 8.60, and her brother Sebastian made it to the Semis. Lastly, our good friend Timmy Thornburg Won the 14 second class in his Old School Cool 4-eyed Fox.

If you didn't attend this event, make sure you come out next year. The racing action is hot, the car show is very cool, and the overall vibes are 10/10. We are sure the Spring Break Ford Nationals at SGMP will grow into a huge event in the near future!
