Route is a third-party shipping insurance service that protects your purchase from the moment it leaves our warehouse until it arrives at your door. By adding Route to your order at checkout, you’re covered for: 

Lost Packages: If your order is lost in transit, Route will facilitate a replacement or refund. 

Damaged Items: If your package arrives damaged, Route will cover the cost of repair or replacement. 

Theft: If your package is stolen after delivery (e.g., porch piracy), Route ensures you’re protected. 

How Route Works 

Add at Checkout: During checkout, you’ll see an option to add Route protection for a small fee based on your order total (typically 1-2% of your cart value). 

Track with Ease: If you purchase Route, you’ll receive access to the Route app or portal, where you can track your order in real-time and manage any claims. 

File a Claim: If an issue occurs (loss, damage, or theft), file a claim directly through Route’s platform. Most claims are resolved within days, with replacements or refunds processed quickly. 

Hassle-Free Resolution: Route handles the claim process, so you don’t need to worry about contacting carriers or navigating complex policies.

Route Coverage Details 

Eligible Orders: Most orders are eligible for Route protection, but some restrictions may apply (e.g., hazardous materials or oversized items). Eligibility is shown at checkout. 

Exclusions: Route does not cover issues unrelated to shipping, such as product defects or buyer’s remorse. See our Returns Policy (#) for details on non-shipping issues. 

International Orders: Route is available for select international destinations. Check eligibility at checkout. 

How to File a Route Claim 

If your order is lost, damaged, or stolen: 

Open the Route app or visit the Route portal (link provided in your order confirmation email). 

Submit your claim with details of the issue, including photos if applicable (e.g., for damaged items). 

Route will review your claim and typically resolve it within 1-5 business days, arranging a replacement or refund as needed.
