PRI Show 2025 - Lots of Turbo Coyotes and Snow!
It’s Monday and we’re back in the office after PRI 2025. This year PRI was very cold and snowy! But the new parts were hot and as we do every year, we like to try to identify trends in the market or really exciting products which were unveiled at the show. Here are some highlights from our trip to PRI this year.
Turbo coyotes were everywhere. This twin turbo S650 Mustang was very very cool looking. Without the stickers, it would almost look like a factory car, but with a whole lot of hidden horsepower.
There were also a lot of trucks this year, mostly high-performance drag or no prep trucks, but there were even some really cool looking diesel trucks like this black F250.
We spotted lots of 7.3L Godzilla parts out there. The 7.3 is getting lots of aftermarket support now, which makes sense because Godzilla swaps make great power for relatively minimal expense. We may or may not be Godzilla swapping one of our UPR cars next year…
Another interesting trend this year was unconventional engine swaps. There was a coyote powered C10 Chevy truck which had the license plate COYOTE10 on it. That was really cool, but my favorite unusual motor swap was this show quality third GEN Camaro, built by Tin Soldiers Race Cars. It had a Small Block Ford under the hood and it looks to be very fast. We’ll be watching out for Joe Glockner in 2026 to see how he does with this gorgeous race car.
