World Street Nationals at Orlando Speed World!
We had a great time at the World Street Nationals at Orlando Speed World! There were plenty of fast cars, lots of action on the dragstrip, and we sold a few parts too. Pro Mod was the headlining class and as expected, those cars were FLYING!! At one point, I was trying to snap a nice "motion blur" photo of Ken Quartuccio's Pro Mod when Justin Swanstrom photobombed the shot with a FAT wheelie in his beautiful carbon fiber Pro Mod Corvette. It was a cool shot.
The No Time class was out of control!! I realized right away that Carlos Sanchez's show quality '69 Camaro was a threat to win the class. So it was a pleasure to hang out with his crew for a little bit. They shocked me by putting a UPR sticker on the car, and then they went on to win the event! Congratulations to them! Overall, we had a lot of fun in Orlando and if you weren't there you should seriously consider attending this event next year.
