The Road team from UPR Products had the sales trailer set up against the fence at Orlando for the 26th annual World Street Nationals. 70 degree temperatures and sunny skies made for a great turnout and stellar performances. Wade Rich, the man responsible for the so important track prep worked his magic all weekend and records were being set daily. And Ozzy Moya and his OSW team put on a great show.
Friday night saw UPR friend Marcus "Axeman" Birt make the quickest pass in Radial history with a 3.55 second pass. And it looks like by season end most everyone has found "the combination" as 3.50 to 3.70 was the range of most competitors. Eliminations saw the quickest side by side pass in Radial racing history as Stevie Jackson topped Marcus Burt with a 3.58 to 3.57 holeshot win. The finals saw Melanie Salemi cut a stellar .004 reaction time to top Stevie Fast in a 3.58 to 3.58 thriller.
Special thanks to UPR BFF Donald "Duck" Long for sponsoring the Radial vs. World class (as well as investing it). Team UPR announcer Lee Sebring did a great job as well as old friend Tim from American Speed.
Despite our Mustang heritage, UPR supports and attends many Radial, Outlaw and even Import races.
We are racers and enthusiasts at heart, and want to support our many customers and racers that attend these events. For instance, Team UPR Mustang racer ran a personal best 4.69 in Ultra Street.
We at UPR want to be more than just a photo on Facebook and this gives us the opportunity to display our products and meet new friends. We are already booking our rooms for the 2020 season. We love what we do !
