Selectable Catch Can Kit Upgrades:
Billet Pro Series Check Valves: The MEGA kit includes 2 standard UPR check valves installed into the vacuum and WOT hoses. The Billet Pro Series check valve is a larger, higher flowing check valve than our standard check valve. It generally will increase the vacuum through the catch can and equate to better PCV evacuation. Better evacuation can translate to better MPG and low speed drivability. Select from the drop down to upgrade and UPR will install them in the hoses when the kit is built.
Adjustable High Flow PCV fitting: The Adjustable Billet PCV fitting is made to accept replaceable jets. It eliminates the failure prone factory PCV, adds flow adjustment, and still allows for the needed restriction since it is not always a good idea to use a 'gutted' or open PCV valve fitting. It Includes 4 different size jets. Jet sizes and application basics for Adjustable version are explained below:
» .100 Jet size is slightly more restrictive than the factory PCV fitting to allow you to restrict the PCV for vehicles ingesting too much oil through the PCV and wanting to reduce oil consumption.
» .125 Jet size is slightly less restrictive than the factory PCV fitting to allow you to adjust the pcv to increase flow a bit more than factory for vehicles that only need minor adjustments to eliminate vapor locking in the PCV system.
» .150 Jet size is even less restrictive for the boosted vehicles that tow and are driven harder to increase flow more than factory for vehicles that only need more adjustment to eliminate vapor locking in the PCV system.
» .175 Jet size is the least restrictive compared to the factory PCV fitting and allows for the largest adjustment of the jets for modified vehicles that generate a lot of blow-by / back pressure to eliminate vapor locking / flooding the clean side of the PCV system with oil.
The Stainless Steel magnetic drain plug would replace the drain plug on the bottom of the catch can with an allen head plug that has a magnet embedded into it. It will attract any ferrous metal material to it so the user can inspect it.
The drain line kit is our most popular drain option. It includes a drain valve, hose and fittings needed to install the drain valve. It allows the user to relocate the drain somewhere easier to access like the wheel well opening or bumper area.
(You would select either the Magnetic Drain Plug, or the Drain Line Kit, not both. If neither is selected, a standard drain valve will be installed)
The Billet One-way crankcase breather is a valve cover breather with a one way valve in it. It allows excess crankcase pressure to exit through the breather when under boost. It will close when crankcase pressure is normal, and keeps un metered air from entering ( so it does not cause a check engine light) . It is also recommended for areas where long periods of below freezing temps are common. The breather will allow crank case pressure to escape until condensation or even frozen condensation in the hoses thaw.

Question: What is the problem with your PCV system ?
Answer: The Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV) system is used to recycle the gases that leak or "blow-by" the your engines piston rings and create a positive pressure in the crankcase. By venting these gases along with oil mist/vapor from the crankcase and route it back into the intake manifold so it can be burned off.
This is a poor fix from automobile manufacturers, because over time the excess oil vapor collects along the inside of the intake tract and forms a "sludge". This leads to a variety of issues including carbon build up, retarded timing, detonation, power loss and even engine failure.
UPR s fix for the PCV system used on many engines for reducing toxic gases from being released into the atmosphere and eliminating positive crankcase pressure / Blow-By.
Question: What does a UPR Catch Can do ?
Answer: UPR s Billet Catch Can / oil-air separator will condense and collect the oil vapor before it has any chance to reach the intake tract. As the gas and oil vapor enters UPR s can they pass through a Chambered filtering system that cools the oil vapor and gives it something to adhere to.
Then the oil forms into droplets and collect in the bottom of the UPR Catch Can so that they can later be drained. This is where the additional Chambered filtering system comes into play allowing only the clean air to pass through so it can eliminate unwanted blow by.
All engines have blow by otherwise there would be no need for a PCV system on your engine. PCV = Positive Crankcase Valve, which eliminates Positive Crankcase Pressure. UPR s Catch Can has become one of the most widely used and recommended cures for just about every application.
The engine size and horsepower level is not relevant to the performance of the UPR Catch Can. UPR s Catch Can has become a cornerstone by improving the Performance and Economy on any vehicle you install it on.
