UPR 8.8" Rear Coil Over Shock Kit Double Adj C309 (Race) (fits Mustang)

    This complete Rear Coil Over Double Adjustable Shock Kit is great for the racer needing a custom set up. Designed for use with coil over shocks on an Mustang 8.8 rear axle. Light weight chrome moly mounting tube and larger 1/2" grade 8 shock mount bracket hardware over the standard 3/8" that other kits use. Axle mounting brackets are laser cut for a Mustang 8.8 axle with an 2.88" diameter. If you have an explorer 8.8 or 9" axle that has a 3" axle diameter see part number 2006-27 or 2006-124.

 

Built around the Viking Performance Crusader C309 Double Adjustable Coil Over Shock which has an 11.57" compressed height and 16.76 extended height. The rebound side has 22 available position of adjustments that generate a progressive curve, while the digressive compression has 19 positions of adjustment, for a total of 418 different valving combinations.

 

AJ (standard compression, mild rebound) general low hp rear valving, radial cars

AM (standard compression, firm rebound) general high hp drag, also works well for slick cars that squat

All Crusader shocks and struts are custom built to order by Viking.  Please allow 3-4 Weeks ship time.
