Much Better than Factory!

Got these along with the Radiator Hold Downs, and once I started to install them, the difference was immediately apparent, with how much of a better design these are over the cheap OE piece that has a tendency to flex. I ordered the Black version, which blends in nicely with the black trim and carpet. Very satisfied with this small upgrade!

A little help from my handle

Overall thoughts and impression: solid pull to open the hood without the wonder if this time the plastic will break. Slightly heavier than the stock unit but a vast improvement. I didn't feel any sharp edges and the smoothness of the finish is rather nice to touch.

The true test will be when the temperature hits triple digits again. Being a metal part, I may need to wrap it with leather. This is the only potential downfall I can see with the handle. I'll send an update if needed. So remember, no update means the summer heat wasn't an issue.
