Flaming River Manual Rack (fits 94-04 Mustang) FR1508

      Flaming River manual rack and pinion steering systems are built from lightweight aluminum castings—and feature chrome plated center tubes and two mounting holes. Designed to meet the standards of professional street rod and race car chassis builders, they weigh less than 15 lbs. each. These systems are a great way to streamline the engine compartment while maintaining smooth, responsive steering.

Requires the use of FR-1509 U joint to adapt to the factory steering shaft or Flaming River Steering Shaft Kit FR-1509M. Also see Flaming River FR-1892 or FR-1892D for a complete package.

Steering Shaft/U-Joint:
If you need a complete steering shaft or need an adapter U-joint in order to adapt your stock shaft or making your own you can add it here.

Bumpsteer Kit:
Replacing your steering rack typically involves replacing your tie rods so you can adjust your bumpsteer. We offer both a stock style stud replacement that requires no drilling with our Extreme kit or we also offer the Maximum kit that replaces the stud with a grade 8 bolt but requires drilling your spindle to match the bolt.

Select Rack Bushings:
Select Standard or Offset Polyurethane rack bushings to go with your steering rack. Standard will keep rack in stock location. Offset bushings and raise or lower the rack for pan clearance or to correct steering geometry.
