Flaming River 79-93 Mustang Manual Rack FR1503

      These racks are designed for the 5.0L (79-93) Mustang (Also available for 94-04 Mustang -- non-Modular engines). These racks are ideal for road racing and other applications where a very responsive steering system is required.

9/16"-26 spline to 3/4" DD U Joint (FR-1709DD) required (not included) to adapt to OEM power steering shaft or to convert a Flaming River FR1504P power steering shaft to a manual rack. You can also upgrade to a complete chromemoly manual steering shaft with part number FR-1504M.

UPR Extreme or Maximum Bumpsteer Kits available to complete your steering rack. Extreme kit uses a tapered 4140 Chromemoly Steel shaft and 7075 Billet turnbuckle. Maximum kit uses a Grade 8 bolt (requires drilling out spindle arm) and 7075 Billet turnbuckle.
