x UPR's all new DOM Steel K-member saves weight while adding maximum header and oil pan clearance. Designed for the abuse of hardcore drag race, road race, and Street Enthusiasts. Most importantly it will handle the everyday wear and tear of city & highway streets like that was it's main intent. Includes UPR Coil Over Kit with exclusive designed adjuster nut with new set screw to ensure it never looses it's setting! Also requires no tools to adjust ride height. UPR Recommends the purchase of a bump steer kit with this product. Caster Camber plates are required due to the added stress on the strut tower. Installs in 3-6 hours. If using after market motor mounts the locating tab may have to be trimmed. Must re-use factory hardware.

Steering Rack Urethane Bushing: Add Standard or Offset rack bushings to your package. Urethane control arm bushings eliminates the play that the stock rubber bushings have. Standard bushings keep the rack in the stock location. Offset bushings allow you some adjustability for additional oil pan clearance.

Answer: Yes you can use stock, aftermarket urethane or even solid motor mounts.
Question: Does this K-member move the tires forward or backward like others?
Answer: No it retains the factory wheelbase and places the wheels in the factory location.
Question: What is the weight difference between this K-member and your Chrome Moly one?
Answer: The difference is 4lbs.
Question: Why are you offering a DOM Steel K-member?
Answer: We saw there was a demand for a more affordable K-member and that some of the current DOM Steel K-members had issues with moving the wheels from the factory location. DOM Steel is less expensive material and we are able to pass that savings on to the customer while still being able to offer an American made high quality product.

12" 175lb (Very low ride height/drag race only spring rate)

Awesome Quality,welds look great and fitment was spot on!!

First off this was my first purchase from UPR. Was looking at the QA-1 K-member but decided to try UPR to save some money (was I ever wrong). I received it, I opened the box and started inventory of all parts everything was in good packaging and all parts accounted for. Product looked very good by naked eye, when installing the K-member/ lower control arms they DO NOT FIT. I tried lining the k-member and lower control arms slots and the control arms are wider than the pre welded and drilled slots on K-member. In the process of trying to get the lower control arms inside the k-member, the bushings on each end of the lower control arms are destroyed/chewed up. The measurements on the K-member are way off. Very disappointed nothing lines up and bushings are trashed. I managed to finally get it using persuasion, just sucks to spend this kind of money for 3rd world quality.
