     Install a Modular 4.6L, 5.4L or Coyote 5.0L into your Fox Body Mustang! UPR's all new Chrome Moly K-member - will save more weight and exceed any strength limitations of mild steel while allowing maximum header and oil pan clearance. This kit was designed for the abuse of hardcore drag race, road race, and Street Enthusiasts. Most importantly it will handle the everyday wear and tear of city & highway streets like that was it's main intent. Not only does this K-member allow for the use of a Modular 4.6L/5.4L into a fox body Mustang but will also work for the Coyote 5.0L As seen here with the use of 96-04 4.6 urethane motor mounts. All of our Suspension Products are made with the Highest Quality materials and most expensive components. We spare no expense on our products and always stand behind them with our Lifetime warranty that no one else offers.
 
Installs in 3-6 hours. If using after market motor mounts the locating tab may have to be trimmed. Must re-use factory hardware.

Optional Parts:

Viking Coil Over Springs: Add Coil Over Springs to your package. Select your spring rate in the dropdown in the option. Read our about our spring rate recommendations below in the Q&A.

Hardware Kit Standard: Grade 10.9 hardware kit includes (4) A-Arm bolts, (8) A-Arm washers, (4) A-Arm nylock nuts, (4) K-member main bolts, (4) K-member main washers, (4) K-member rear pad bolts, (4) K-member rear pad washers.

Hardware Kit Master: Grade 10.9 hardware kit includes (4) A-Arm bolts, (8) A-Arm washers, (4) A-Arm nylock nuts, (4) K-member main bolts, (4) K-member main washers, (4) K-member OEM style J-nuts, (4) K-member rear pad bolts, (4) K-member rear pad washers (2) K-member rear aluminum retaining nut/blocks.

Bolt-On Tow Hooks: Two piece bolt together tow hooks can be added anywhere you like on the main hoop.

Motor Mount Shims: 6061 Aluminum Motor Mount shims to space the engine up for additional oil pan clearance, available in 1/4" or 3/8" thick.

Question: What motor mounts should I use with this K-member?
Answer: You will use stock or aftermarket 96-04 4.6 motor mounts.

Question: Does this K-member move the tires forward or backward like others?
Answer: No it retains the factory wheelbase and places the wheels in the factory location.

Question: How do I know what coil over spring to add to my kit?
Answer: This is our recommended spring rates to help guide you.

10" 250lb (8.5" or wider wheel/lowering spring-type ride)
12" 175lb (Very low ride height/drag race only spring rate)
12" 200lb (Stock like ride/can lower ride height)
12" 225lb (Slightly stiffer than stock not quite lower spring stiff)
12" 250lb (Stiffest recommended for street use/too stiff for some drivers)
12" 300lb (Road race/autocross/very stiff)
12" 350lb (Not recommended for street use/road race or autocross only over 2800lbs)
14" 125lb (Light drag car/drag only)
14" 150lb (3000-3300lb street/strip-best option for non power adder heavy cars)
14" 175lb (THE most popular street/strip for full interior street cars)
14" 200lb (Big block or heavy supercharger/twin turbo combinations)
