Chrome Moly K-Member LS Swap (fits 79-04 Mustang) UPR

     UPR's LS Swap Chrome Moly K-member will save more weight and exceed any strength limitations of mild steel while allowing maximum header and oil pan clearance. This kit was designed for the abuse of hardcore drag race, road race, and Street Enthusiasts. Most importantly it will handle the everyday wear and tear of city & highway streets like that was it's main intent. Includes LS swap adapter plates that allow you to bolt them to any standard LS, 5.3L, 6.0L block and then bolt your choice of 4.6 or LS  Mustang Motor Mount to it and use UPRs 4.6 Chrome Moly K-member. This is the Lightest and Strongest package on the Market for LS Mustang swaps. Clears Ultimate Headers Fox Body Swap (Part UH-102601) Longtube headers in 94-04 cars.

 

The base K-member comes with our Solid Steel LS style Motor Mounts that are slotted front to back allowing you to move the engine forward up to 5/8" away from firewall. These mounts have no dampening will add the most vibration and noise to your car, great for a drag focused car or high HP application. We offer the option for Non Adjustable Urethane Motor Mounts these offer more street friendly characteristics and are an upgrade from stock rubber motor mounts without adding any vibration and noise to the car but offer no adjustability. The best option is our Adjustable Urethane Motor Mounts which not only offers the street friendly characteristics of a urethane mount but the front to rear adjustability of the solid mount plus the adjustability of moving the engine up a 1/2" or down 1/4". The Adjustable Motor Mounts come in 2 durometers Street or Street/Strip and allow you to replace the bushings at any time or upgrade as you increase power levels.
