Plug N Play™ Oil Clean Side Catch Can (fits 22-24 Ford Maverick 2.0) UPR

     Add the UPR Clean Side Catch Can to your vehicle for the Ultimate protection! In performance applications, especially boosted applications, crankcase vapor and oil mist can be forced out of the crankcase vent (CCV) into the cold air intake or air box during hard acceleration and / or towing and hauling. Installing a UPR Clean Side Catch Can will trap the oil mist from crankcase vapors, preventing the mist from getting into the air intake while still allowing proper function of your PCV system. This is the best addition to your UPR Catch Can system.

Automotive PCV systems have a 'Dirty' side, and a 'Clean' side. The Dirty side uses intake manifold vacuum to draw air out through the PCV valve or PCV fitting to evacuate moisture, fumes and acids from the crankcase. This is where you would install a PCV side catch can. As this air is drawn out of the crankcase, clean air (or commonly referred to as 'makeup' air) is drawn into the crankcase through the Crankcase vent which connects to the cold air intake or factory air box. This fresh, filtered air helps to 'flush out' the crankcase fumes. Think of it as bad air out, and good air in.

A UPR Dual Catch Can system will coalesce oil mist from the PCV system vapor on both the PCV side and the Crankcase Vent (CCV) side of the engine.

Installs in 10-20 minutes. 

This UPR Pro Series catch can kit is shipped ready to install even if no upgrades are selected. Upgrades are available to allow you to tailor the kit to fit your needs.

Replacement O-Rings:
Spare O-rings for the catch can cup. If the O-ring is lost, torn or if it's just time to replace it due to wear it's a good idea to have a couple of spares in the glove box.
