The design of this unit is more along the lines of a True Engineer and cannot be compared or confused with units that have side by inlets and outlets with screen rolled up and shoved in them. The 4 chamber technology in UPR catch cans captures and filters all the oil vapor and trash from getting into your air intake tract. That's the most important reason for a catch can in the first place! This kit also has the option to add the UPR CSS - Clean Side Separator for the Driver side of the PCV system to make sure you are fully protected at both ends of the PCV system. (Great protection and ideal for all driving situations) Manufactured from Domestic T-6 6061 Aluminum bar stock and finished off using only the best Diamond cutters to exceed your expectations of what a superior product should fit and look like. UPR Clean Side Separator (CSS):
This Clean Side Catch Separator is especially beneficial to modified vehicles with added Superchargers or Turbo kits. As crankcase pressure builds up under BOOST, it will be forced out of the driver side valve cover fitting. This clean side separator will still allow clean air to enter the crankcase as the factory intended, but will catch oil and impurities when crankcase pressure is high, preventing that gunk from getting into your cold air kit and throttle body. Once normal driving resumes, the Clean Side Separator will allow the oil mist to return to the crankcase.

This UPR Pro Series catch can kit is shipped ready to install even if no upgrades are selected. Upgrades are available to allow you to tailor the kit to fit your needs.

Replacement O-Rings:
Spare O-rings for the catch can cup. If the O-ring is lost, torn or if it's just time to replace it due to wear it's a good idea to have a couple of spares in the glove box. 5049 is the main dirty side catch can and 5043 is the clean side separator.

This UPR catch can kit is 100% ready to install with no add ons. The upgrades allow you to custom tailor the kit to your needs if you like. The description for the upgrades are below:

UPR Billet Check Valve: The check valve ensures that airflow only moves in one direction. It will increase the vacuum through the catch can and deliver better crankcase evacuation. The improved crankcase evacuation translates to increased MPG and more responsive low speed drivability. The arrow printed on the check valve will always need to face away from the catch can.

UPR CSS - Clean Side Separator for the Driver side of the PCV system to make sure you are fully protected at both ends of the PCV system. (Great protection and ideal for all driving situations). The Clean Side Separator allows fresh, filtered air from the air filter box or inlet tube to enter the crank case as the factory intended, but will separate oil vapor and keep it from exiting the clean side when crankcase pressure is high. Once normal driving resumes, the air entering the engine will pull the oil mist back in.
