x The UPR Plug N Play™ Catch Can Features Multiple Chambers and a pressed Coalescing Filter that delivers optimal performance. Plug N Play™ Fittings, adjustable brackets, and UPR's Billet LT4 PCV Diverter are just a few of the features that make this kit head and shoulders above the rest. The fittings are all quick release Plug n Play™ fittings that allow you to push the buttons to release the catch can in seconds without any tools.
UPR's Dual Valve catch can delivers exceptional performance and utilizes all the best components, and hoses and fittings. No plastic or rubber hoses with cheap worm clamps or plastic fittings like many catch can manufacturers use to make more profit on inferior products. UPR uses billet fittings, braided hoses, custom fit billet hose ends to lock the hoses and fittings in place. We've been working on better options for the GM vehicles to make Enthusiasts aware of the Ineffective performance the 2-chamber catch cans others offer. They're all just inferior copies of one another without any improvements to the major design differences to improve their oil separation. These 2 chamber pull through oil catch can run generic screens, compressor filters, and honeycomb filters such as JLT - Moroso - Mishimoto catch cans. These designs reduce cost and deliver a reduction in performance as well.
2 Chamber Designs have been proven to allow as much oil into the intake as they collect in the can still allowing 50% or more of the oil to be ingested filling the manifold and causing detonation / spark knock in the cylinder. Mainly because the design requires a better-engineered diffuser system and not just a simple screen, muffler, or honeycomb filter. The primary function of an oil separation system is to eliminate fuel degradation and any possibility of engine knock known as detonation from oil entering the combustion chamber. It's not how much you collect in the Catch Can it's how much you stop from exiting the exit stream of the Catch Can.

This UPR Pro Series catch can kit is shipped ready to install even if no upgrades are selected. Upgrades are available to allow you to tailor the kit to fit your needs.

UPR Billet One-Way Valve Cover Breather:
These are Valve Cover Breathers with a one-way valve inside of it. These are designed to allow excess/positive crankcase pressure to exit through the breather when in boost. Then it closes to return to vacuum while driving to prevent un-metered air from entering to maintain perfect drivability. These are also ideal for vehicles in very cold or freezing weather as it allows crankcase pressure to escape until condensation or frozen condensation in the PCV hoses melts or thaws. This is a must to ensure maximum engine seal life.
UPR Billet Pro Series Check Valves:
These are larger higher flowing check valves than the standard check valve. It will increase the vacuum through the catch can and deliver better crankcase evacuation. The improved crankcase evacuation translates to increased MPG and more responsive low speed drivability. The arrow printed on the check valve will always need to face away from the catch can. There is no down side to having a check valve in a Naturally Aspirated (NA) application, and a check valve in required in boosted applications. The larger, higher flowing Pro Series Check Valve also has a hex nut on the body so you can disassemble it for inspection and cleaning. This kit uses 2 different size hoses so if you want to upgrade to Pro Series Check Valves you will need to select each of the optional valves.
SS Magnetic Drain Plug:
The Stainless Steel magnetic drain plug would replace the drain plug on the bottom of the catch can with an allen head plug that has a magnet embedded into it. It will attract any ferrous metal material to it so the user can inspect it. If you select this option you can not also use the Drain Line kit below.
Drain Line Kit:
The drain line kit includes a drain valve, hose and fittings needed to install the drain valve. It allows the user to relocate the drain somewhere easier to access like the wheel well opening or bumper area. If you select this option you can not also use the Magnetic Drain Plug.
**Choose either the stainless steel magnetic drain plug or the UPR drain line kit, you would not need both**
Replacement O-Rings:
Spare O-rings for the catch can cup. If the O-ring is lost, torn or if it's just time to replace it due to wear it's a good idea to have a couple of spares in the glove box.
