x These racks are designed for the 5.0L (79-93) Mustang (Also available for 94-04 Mustang). These racks are ideal for road racing and other applications where a very responsive steering system is required.
It eliminates the power rack, pump, pulley and rag joint for a total vehicle weight reduction of more than 30 lbs. Provides smooth responsive vehicle steering. Ideal for drag race and street use.

- FR 1504M Shaft Assembly
- (2) Outer Tie Rod Ends
- (2) Rack Bushings
Upgrade your Flaming River FR1890 kit to the UPR version that replaces the rubber mounting bushings with your choice of Energy Suspension Standard or Offset urethane bushings. Also included in this package is your choice of the Extreme or Maximum bumpsteer kit in place of the cast outer tie rod ends that come with the FR1890.

UPR Extreme Bumpsteer Kit uses a tapered 4140 Chrome Moly stud that fits factory spindles
UPR Maximum Bumpsteer Kit uses a Grade 8 Bolt that requires the factory spindle to be drilled out, which is a good option if the taper on your spindle is damaged or if you prefer to use a non-tapered stud.
